Zeeland West extended its four game winning streak with 2-1 victory over Hastings in girls soccer on Monday.

Zeeland West used a 2-1 second-half advantage, as well as a solid performance by Hannah Elzinga, to top Zeeland East 3-1 in a home OK crossover game on Saturday.

Elzinga scored two goals, assisted by Halie Farrell and Zoe LaCroix, and Shelbi Lowe contributed one goal.

Carissa Fox scored the lone goal for East, assisted by Mackenzie Fox.

The Hamilton girls track team edged out Zeeland West to capture the Division 2 regional at Houseman Field on Saturday.

Hamilton had 116.5 points, while Zeeland East was two back with 114.5.

The Zeeland West boys track team had six first-place finishes to win the Division 2 regional at Houseman Field on Saturday.

Zeeland West won with 130.33 points, followed by host Allendale (85) in second. Zeeland East (66), Hamilton (50), and Coopersville (48) rounded out the top five.
